From June 29 to July 27 the world's best marathon runners have completed their this year’s high-altitude training on the Alpe di Siusi. The Kenyan athletes of the "Rosa Nike Team", among them Alfred Kirwa Yego, Samuel Wanjiru, Robert Cheruiyot and Janeth Jepkosgei, have benefit from the optimal altitude between 1800 and 2000 m of the Alpe di Siusi, in order to prepare for the Olympic Games in Beijing and the heavy marathons in autumn.
